Biggest Burden of Rafale deal is Technology transfer. UPA was obsolutely right during that time to buy 126 Rafale among 18 aircraft’s to buy in fly away conditions from France and to build 108 aircraft’s in-house at HAL through technology transfer. But due to reduction to 36 numbers from 126 aircraft’s, country lost great opportunity to build competitive AMCA with Rafale technology. Modi is on the way to spoil indegeneous projects.
Who questions ability of HAL that it has taken 30 years, they should question union Governments that how much they releases funds for Research and development for Either for DRDO or HAL. Even US govt funds enormously for its all indigenous Défense projects such as F16, F22, F18 or F35 and much more for R&D. Modi government now spoiling all indegenous efforts made by HAL at its acceleration phase, just to benefiting his business tycoons. If Rafale dosnt want to partner with HAL, come out of Dassault and call for new bidding as per numbers required by Airforce. As country like India we should order and not obeying to such a companies. Totally we payed to get fucked. This is what happens when there is illitrate, immaturued and stuppid cabinet at union government. They don't even know importance defence guidelines and it's obligations. How could they sideline HAL against Ambanis reliance without having any experience just to send fabricated parts rather than technology transfer to HAL to build whole aircraft under license manufacturing. This is biggest loss for country.
If Modi govt. is really concerned about Self reliant and Make in India, What is the amount released by Current govt. for indigenous R&D projects in span of four and Half years?
Modi Government seems spoiling and curbing HAL mainly because of Ambani and Adanis to stop competing for all defense project. Now Modi Government appointed Telangana state BJP president in the Board of Directors ( Non Executive) at HAL. This was never happened earlier by any political party that appointed a politicians at HAL top position. What is main agenda behind this? is this to Manipulate HAL and to curb from all future projects from defense PSU only for sake of crony capitalism? Why BJP is utterly misusing HAL?
Why Modi government is calling only private sectors to bid for upcoming 110 fighter jets, 113 Naval Light utility Helicopter and Naval multi utility Helicopter and intentially keeping HAL out of scope. By the way there is already news that Adani has partnerd with swidish SAAB for 110 fighter aircrafts from India? If it's true it's same case as Ambani Rafale deal with zero experience in defence projects. Now only difference with Ambani and Adani is "MBD".
Many of BJP ministers and leaders are blaming HAL, that its not capable to build Rafale. They are either illiterate, ignorant or foolish and not aware of HAL achievements. They don't even have common sense how aerospace industry works. Running Aerospace Industry is not like running retail shop. Unless you add additional production lines you cant expect more aircraft to come out. Unfortunately all union governments till today they are not even ready to invest penny of rupees to enhance production lines. Moreover western countries are not doing any magic. The fact is they have invested sufficiently towards R&D and multiple production lines to meet demand of both self and overseas. So Modi Govt. should setup additional production lines rather than blaming HAL just for crony capitalism. How Modi govt. compare capabilities of Indian private firms with organization like HAL which is having 4 complexes, 21 divisions and multiple R&D centres at its capacity? So Dassualt knows where bread and butter is. They know how to avoid Technology transfer by dealing with companies like Ambani's, Adanis and other private sectors. Ultimately we paid billions of dollars for nothing. Unfortunate thing is Modi govt. is claiming they're not concerned for anything. But ultimately both EX (Former French President Hollande and Former HAL chief Suvarna Raju) have disclosed truth and massive irregularities and lies done by Great Modi Government. Remember its Tax payers Money. Unfortunately still BJP ministers are misleading people of country.
For an offset is concerned, unless you buy large number of aircrafts from any foreign OEMs, no countries offers transfer of technology honestly even though you are ready to spend billions of dollars. Hence MMRCA deal took place for 126 fighter jets with partial transfer of technology to build whole aircraft (Almost 100% offset) with HAL. So Dassault can’t avoid or hide from technology transfer to firm like HAL with complete building of whole aircraft. But unfortunately Modi government brought to 36 no's from 126 no's and mutually agreed to offset of just 30%. Country lost golden opportunity for at least 10,000 of jobs directly or indirectly and build effective ecosystem in country.
Current Vice Air Chief Marshall apprised only Rafale aircraft is good. But he didn't apprised Govt to keep HAL out. But no one could challenge how Jaguar, Mig, Sukhoi, Hawk, Dornier aircrafts completely built by HAL under Govt to Govt deal.
Finally Modi government should clarify all below questions from pride people of India
1) What is breakup charges for Aircraft and its accessories including Missiles, Israeli helmet and so on that India is paying to France (By the way we are not asking Technical specification of products since you are concerned about secrecy clause)
2) What is price that Qatar paid to France to induct Rafale aircraft to its Air force very recently? (Already many sources have come out with prices)
3) Why Modi took independent decision at France to buy only 36 aircraft without consent of IAF and Defence Ministry, even though IAF wanted 136 fighter aircrafts?
4) Till Modi announcing india is buying only 36 aircraft at Indo France joint statement at France, IAF and Defense ministry was aware and of it. Is it true?
5) What is an offset clause and its obligations of Dassault with India ?, I mean how much Dassault is investing at India and on what technology?
6) On what basis Anil Ambani Reliance selected for this deal with no prior experience? Is Modi independently violated Defense procurement policy?
7) What Reliance defense is manufacturing for Rafael aircraft and how much worth of it?
